Someone to listen.

While talking to a close one the other day I realized so many things were going wrong in his life. He was struggling each day to make a balance between his family and career. He was unable to spend proper time with his loved ones. So many things were frustrating him and all he wanted was Someone to listen to him. Someone to talk to without fear of being judged, someone to say some kindly words, someone to motivate him when he saw his efforts doom.

And I wondered that today there are so many people out there who just want someone to listen to them, someone to tell them its not a big deal, to say that its going to be okay. Aren’t we human beings many time choking with emotions ? Our almost solitary lifestyles (despite the many social media friends) leaves us short of company at the time of crisis. And then there is the fear of being judged or harming our carefully photo shopped picturesque lifestyle that we want to present to everyone.
I know these fears exist because sometimes I myself am doubtful – whether to share or not. In the end, I have realised that it is much better to open my heart, to involve some people in my ups & downs and give help to others just as readily.

P. S. Do share who are the people in your life who are always willing to listen to you?

Confusion.

So much of hustle is going on in my life. I’m so confused. And I seriously don’t know what’s going on.

P. S. Have you ever been through this state of confusion in life? And What made you so feel so lost?

Also, do tell me if you would love to see a doodle on my blog daily..

Letter To the ones who made me a better person.

Dear you,

I still remember how I used to trouble you due to my not-so-good habit of overthinking and how you would be so patient with me and listened to me till the very end. Calming me each time.

And on the days where I would be insecure about myself and would ask you stupid questions like ‘why me?’ you would give me an hour long lecture as to how I should learn to love myself and would put my demons to sleep and fill me with confidence again.

How you taught me to focus on my karma and not on what others are doing in their lives.

How you would constantly work with me to improvise myself on my shortcomings.

You have pulled me up each time I felt broken and taught me to put myself as a priority and made me the stronger and more positive version of myself that I’ve ever been..

Thank You for teaching me these small litle things that have had such huge impact in my life and for making me a better version of myself with each passing day. ❤️

P. S. Would love to know who are those people in your life who have made you a better person?

Uncertainty of life.

Sitting on the terrace, looking up in the sky at the twinkling stars, I am thinking about an incident. Some two or three months back, I had gone to visit my cousin grandfather. He was seriously unwell and had a chronic disease. His condition was really very painful and you could not even look at him in his eyes. But even in his last stage, he was full of life, smiling, concerned about us, questioning, doing everything he could by himself. With a heavy heart we left and two days later we got the sad news. 😦

And now when I think about him only one thing comes in my mind. Life is so uncertain. Anything can happen the next second isn’t it? So shouldn’t we live while we are actually alive? Do whatever we want to without giving it a second thought. Because who knows when we would be taking our last breath on this planet..

P.s. Friends let’s just all give up our negative feelings. And start living each day like it’s our last one. Live fully and not to regret anything. Say what you want to. Confess your feelings. Your love towards people. Travel. Explore. Learn. Enjoy. And smile more often. Be thankful for each day you’re alive on this planet. There are many who may be taking there last breath with dreams in their eyes, words they could never speak.
